Stafford Swain is the founder of Stafford F. Swain & Associates, the first professional firm in Manitoba specializing exclusively in business valuation and consulting in forensic accounting and financial litigation. Prior to the formation of the firm 17 years ago, Mr. Swain served as senior manager in charge of business valuation and the litigation support group with the office of an international accountancy firm in Winnipeg.

Swain and Associates experience includes a wide variety of business concerns including acquisitions, expropriations, and reorganizations for such businesses as manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and service organizations. Mr. Swain has also served as a corporate income tax assessor and special investigator with Revenue Canada Taxation. He is a member of the Canadian Chartered Business Valuators, Manitoba Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accounts Alliance for Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Accounting.

The Swain team includes associate Louise Tully who has experience in a wide variety of valuations, cash flow projections and financing proposals, and Steve Beal, a strategic senior consultant with more than 18 years in corporate financial management positions, including head of finance, corporate banking for the Royal Bank of Canada. Beal is also a Certified Financial Analyst.
